A description of the work associated with this project can be summarized to include pulverizing the existing asphalt surface on the main track and removing the existing pavement and base of the runways and jumping lanes and shotput area. The pulverized track will be mixed with the existing base material, graded, and compacted and a new asphalt mat will be installed. The project also includes rubberized all weather surfacing, lane striping and pavement markings, and installation of a guide wire system.
