A description of the Work of this project can be summarized to include: A new ADA elevator to connect
the ground floor and second floor of the Canyon Building at the College of Southern Idaho. Work to include
the selective demolition of existing stairway, concrete footings, and roof structure (open web steel joists).
New elevator to be installed with its associated hoistway. New area of refuge is also to be constructed on
the second floor. Power for the elevator is to be connected to an automatic transfer switch for emergency
operation. Automatic transfer switch and generator installation are provided in a separate project scope
(DPW 24090 CSI Emergency Generator and Data Center Improvements).
Estimated Cost: $450,000.00
